studying, beautiful almost glorious instrumentals, i think this is such a versatile album

david bowie, i love david bowie, feeling like a real person, smiling grinning being happy and carefree, being culturally revolutionary as i think his work will forever be unparalleled

lesser known billy joel album, yet one of his best. another good album for long car drives

another amazing herbaliser album, just had to add it in cos theyre equally good to listen to

best when/for:

i love rachmaninov so much, especially this piano concerto. makes me feel so full of emotion, final moments of movement 3 are jaw dropping

Scheherazade [Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, 1888]

2. III. Andantino quasi allegretto

best when/for:

one of my favourite works of classical music, especially since I got to perform this on-stage in 2024.

open, soft and gentle, all tracks blend together beautifully, tracks are engaging to listen to and virtuosic in composition

obviously the lyrics are the main talking part, amazing harmonies and composition. super g r o o v y. synths are mind melting
